Red-throated Loon

This morning, I went up to Cow Creek to see the two Red-necked Grebes that Kenny Miller reported on Saturday. While glassing the grebes (there were 3 Red-necked Grebes today) I spotted a small loon with a thin bill. A quick look in Sibley's confirmed for me that I was looking at a juvenile Red-throated Loon, a life bird for me. Although I was never able to get close for good photos, they are good enough for identification. Ricky Olson came up in the morning, later in the day Todd Jensen and Kenny Miller were able to see it too. Will it stick around for the SDOU meeting next weekend???
