Prairie Falcon Harassing
Snowy Owl

This young snowy owl was just
minding its own business when a prairie falcon began harassing it.
On the first pass the falcon drove the owl off
the post. The owl landed in the field a short distance from the fence.
The falcon came back for some more fun. I
focused on the owl and started shooting when it raised its wings in defense
against the falcon.
The falcon never struck the owl, after another
swoop it flew off into the west and the owl went east.
