This morning I finally got a nice photo of an Evening Grosbeak, long overdue.
I used to see them by the hundreds at my feeder in Spearfish when I was
going to college but I have never been able to get a single photo of the
species since I started bird photography.
A Great Gray Owl that has been seen around the around the
area for a few days. I haven't seen a Great Gray Owl since 2010.
California Quail. This bird had a bunch of chicks but
they were always hiding and I couldn't get any shots.
The numbers of Pine Whites here is amazing. Hundreds of them flying
around. I have never seen so many anywhere else. Here's one on a pine needle.
