California Thrasher just about too close to focus on. He's getting nervous.
This female California Quail came close, but the light wasn't very nice. It turned out OK though.
I couldn't get close enough for a photo of a single male with doing a huge crop, so here are three.
Getting ready to run.....these quail aren't as tame as Gambel's Quail sometimes are.
I suppose they are if accustomed to feeding in people's yards.
