Juvenile Red-breasted Sapsucker
Not much red on the breast yet
Near perfect except for the grass stem right over the bird's face. I was able to make it look OK using Photoshop.
Low light conditions again, using f5.6 so not much depth of field.
It's always something, part of the wing got covered here.
I could hope for a bit of a head turn for better eye contact, but this is what I got.
