Some Photos from Ajo, Arizona and the Milky
Way Galaxy
October 3, 2019
I'm very happy with this! The Pleiades, and look at the detail in those
interstellar
dust clouds! I'm using a new method called dithering, by moving the framing
slightly ever
4-5 images, it really helps to get rid of background noise (pattern noise that
is
visible when shooting in low light). This allows me to "develop" the image more
than I could before.
Same with the Bubble Nebula and the star cluster M52.
A Red-naped Sapsucker feeding on palm berries.
This Northern Mockingbird looks like it just left the nest.
I hope its parents told it about these things. Young Cooper's Hawk that
came to the water and scared everything else away.
Hermit Thrush
Western Tanager splashing up the water.
