Arizona Blanket-Flower, Gaillardia arizonica

Arizona Blanket-Flower view from the top

A Sonoran Mud Turtle at Quitoboquito Spring. Although
I've been there many times, I have never seen one there. This
is an endangered subspecies of the Sonoran Mud Turtle. From the
looks of the pond, the water level has dropped considerably, probably
due to the well drilling that is being done for the construction of the "wall".

A male Round-tailed Ground Squirrel behind my camper.

A cooperative Turkey Vulture I photographed this morning.
