M13, the Great Cluster in Hercules. This was taken with the C8. About
140 light years in diameter, it contains several hundred thousand stars.
Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). Currently moving
through Ursa Major, it is forecast to become very
bright next month. C8 image.
M100, the Blowdryer Galaxy in Virgo. Part of the
Virgo galaxy cluster. C8 image.
Last night I did some photography of the
resident Merriam's Kangaroo Rat.
I got lucky with this shot of it leaping in the air.
A few days I watched this Greater Roadrunner calling. They make a distinctive
"co-coo-coo-coo-coooooo" call, but I have never actually seen one do it.
They bow the head down toward the ground when they call.
