New Photos from the Ajo Area
March 16, 2020

I've seen quite few Western Diamondbacks lately, I
caught this one for photos.

A Sanderling at the Ajo sewage ponds, a rare bird in AZ.
Some birders from Tucson have come out to see it too.

Spectacular clump of mallow, I couldn't resist a photo.

M63, the Sunflower Galaxy in Canis
Venatici, 30 million light years out there. All of
these galaxies were imaged with the Celestron C8.

The Black Eye Galaxy, M64, in Coma Berenices, 17 million light years.

M106, in Canis Venatici. I've done this before with the 500 f4 lens but
with the C8 I am just amazed at the colors I can pull out.
This galaxy is known to contain a super massive black hole.
