More photos from the Ajo, AZ area

A Bobcat that I caught on my trail camera. I actually got it
twice, once at night and in the morning. According the
time and date that the camera recorded, it must have been walking up this
arroyo just minutes before I got there to pick up the camera.
A pair of Common Side-blotched Lizards, male and female.
I have never been able to get both in one photo before.
Crissal Thrasher posing for me.
I did some reprocessing of M82 to bring out more of the red hydrogen filaments.
I added more images to the Owl Nebula, with the C8 one can
see more detail than I could ever get with the 500mm f4 lens.
M51, the Whirlpool Galaxy. I have been waiting for this one, it doesn't get up
high
enough until after midnight. Small, bright galaxies like this are perfect for
the C8.
Unfortunately, shortly after I started shooting the dew took over and
covered the objective of the telescope. I only got about 1/2 hour of
integration.
The Horsehead Nebula up close. Those rays of light
coming in on the top are from Alnitak, a very bright star nearby.
I can't seem to get rid of them. I tried different orientations
of the camera but nothing worked.
This is M46, a star cluster in the constellation Puppis. It contains around 500
bright, young
blue stars and is about 5000 light years away. The planetary nebula NGC 2438 is
here
too but it is not associated with the star cluster and is closer, at 3000
light years.
M96, a galaxy in the constellation Leo.
