A hike in Alamo Canyon was pretty good for birds, including this Canyon Wren.
Classic Canyon Wren pose.
M78 with the C8. Deep in the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, young bright
stars light up the reflection nebulas. Over 1300 light years from Earth, the two
nebulas span over 5 light years.
Galaxy NGC 1300 with the C8. I only got about 1/2 hour
of exposure so it is not as bright as I'd like. Over 60 million years
distant and spanning 100 million light years diameter, it is about the same
size as our Milky Way Galaxy.
