A Harris's Hawk on takeoff.
After the rains a few days ago, I drove out to see how
the sunset would look. It wasn't great but these clouds
provided a nice photo.
Comet ATLAS (C/2019 Y4) passed by the Owl Nebula (M97) a
few days ago. I was out to image it around midnight.
The comet is in the lower right, the Owl Nebula is upper right.
Markarian's Chain in Virgo. Lots of galaxies here.
Imagine the possibilities out there.
The Witchhead Nebula in Orion. The bright blue star is
Rigel, which lights up the nebula. I like this a lot
but I got the framing a bit off so I'm trying it again tonight.
