This is much better than I expected for my first attempt. I used the C8 at prime focus instead of using the 2.5x Powermate. Seeing conditions were terrible, I could see the planet jumping all over in the Live View field. What one does is shoot a 30 second video then use a computer program that selects the good video frames and stacks them. When I get better conditions I will try the 2.5x Powermate. For now, I'm happy to see Jupiters banding, the Great Red Spot and two moons. I am really looking forward to trying Saturn!
