Astrophotography in the Ajo, AZ area.

I shot and stacked more images of the Great Orion Nebula last night. It is looking pretty good.

While waiting for Orion to get high enough, I did the Pleiades again.
Forty-four minutes of exposure, enough to bring out the dust clouds in the star cluster.

Expect to see more of this, the Jellyfish Nebula, a supernova remnant.
I only got 25 minutes on it before the clouds came in, then the moon came up.
I will need at least an hour or more to get more detail. The bright star at the top is
Tejat Prior, one of the brighter stars in the constellation Gemini.
The Jellyfish Nebula is big, larger than a full moon, but very faint.
