Tonight I got some better shots, but I still am wishing for entire tail to be out of the hole!
I used the same tactic, wait for the kangaroo rat to come out
while watching with a night vision scope, then shoot, I'm prefocused on the spot.
I only got one chance in about two hours. I'm hoping it will eventually get used to the
flashlight, it would be much easier, but so far the flashlight just makes it dive for the nearest hole.
