Hutton's Vireo
A Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, giving me the evil eye.
Black-capped Gnatcatcher, the male of one of two pairs along the creek by my
campsite.
Lots of birders come here seeking this species.
A couple of nights ago I went out for the Canyon Tree Frogs again.
This time I got one in the open and more a broadside view.
A female, she was just clinging to the rock and not calling.
Hemileuca hualapai, the Hualapai buckmoth. Several of these came to my
black light last night.
Hemileuca tricolor, the Tricolor Buckmoth. Both of these species seem to
be rarely reported according to Bug Guide and the Butterflies and Moths of North
America.
Hemileuca tricolor, the Tricolor Buckmoth.
My attempt to photograph a spider web at night.
