There is a small patch of mallow in bloom a short distance from the
Scamp. Not much else is available for butterflies
to nectar on, so when it warms up enough, this is a good place to go. Today, I
got a lifer, an Arizona Powdered-Skipper.

The only image I have of a Mallow Scrub-Hairstreak with the wings
open, the blue color reveals that this one is a female.
