Cave Creek Canyon area photos
Cassin's Vireo, photography of birds in the forest is always hard due to the
very contrasting light.
Brown-crested Flycatcher. The head was in the shade, a little Photoshop work
helps but it isn't what I'd like. The sticks in front of the bird don't
help either.
Brown-crested Flycatcher. Poor light and too far away for good detail, but shows
the
underside of the tail, a good field mark along with the big bill.
Female Montezuma Quail. Given the difficulty in even seeing these birds, the
grass stems in front of it don't bother me at all.
I don't know what this is, it is not in my Arizona plant books. This is the only
one I've seen in flower.
Updated: Yellow Bird-of-Paradise. Doesn't look much like a bird to me.
