A Merlin at Highway Tank
This is the only Couch's Spadefoot I could find today.
Here you can see the "spades" on the hind feet.
The ant wandered into the photo, but the toad did not eat it. I was hoping....
Anyway, you get an idea of how small these freshly metamorphed toads are.
Couch's Spadefoot, the spade can be seen here too.
I added another hour of exposure to the Helix Nebula last night.
And took about an hour of the Triangulum Galaxy too.
