Blacklighting in Cave Creek
October 1, 2018

I have never seen so many jumping spiders. This one has moved into my solar panel.

This is Chrysina gloriosa, a scarab beetle that is highly sought
after by beetle collectors. I had one show up last night.

Lynx spider - probably Peucetia viridans

I had two Hercules Beetles come in, both females. They are big!

Agrius cingulata, Pink-Spotted Hawkmoth.  Must have been 4 inches long.

Several mantids showed up.

And a Walking Stick, I have never had one at the blacklight before.

Apantesis proxima, Mexican Tiger Moth
