Ajo Area Photography

I liked the symmetry of these mallow flowers, so I used the ring flash
and shot at f16 for good depth of field. I think it turned out pretty nice.
The Red-breasted Sapsucker is still here and has molted into a nice looking
adult bird.
Now I'd like to get some better shots, hopefully closeup with the 500 f4.
Finally, a Sage Thrasher. First one of the winter.
Sage Thrasher
A Common Side-blotched Lizard. It has been so cool lately that even
these lizards are not commonly seen. I shot the entire lizard including
tail, but
chose to crop it tighter so that more detail can be seen.
