More Photos in the Ajo, AZ Area

My prize for three nights of trying to photograph Merriam's Kangaroo Rat.
As usual, the only method that seems to work is to prefocus on
a spot by one of its burrows, then wait, and wait, and wait. Then wait some more.
I use a night vision scope to see when it is there. Using a flashlight and
autofocus doesn't work, it just scares it off.

Haven't got this ID'd yet, but it is a new flower I've never seen. At first I thought
the flowers were missing a petal but this is the natural growth form for the flower.

Here's my campsite in bright moon light, the constellation
Orion is rising in the east over the truck and the Scamp.
Rigel is the bright star
right over the top of the roof vent.
