Looking for Snakes Part 1
April 17, 2019
I drove the back roads for awhile around sunset but only found two snakes.
One was a Western Diamondback. In the past this species has been hard to
photograph because they won't coil up, instead they just try to get away.
Now that I have snake tongs, I can keep the snake where I want it until it does
coil.
I found this small Sidewinder too. Only has two rattles.
Closeup of the Sidewinder.
