I got up at 4 AM to get some astrophotography in after moonset and before
sunrise. Orion is becoming dominant in the night sky now that winter is
approaching. There are lots of new targets I want to get, but I couldn't resist
trying the Great Orion Nebula again with my newly modified H-alpha camera and
better skills at astrophotography. I will probably post another edit of this
image later after I figure out how to blend two exposures so the core of the
nebula isn't overexposed like it is here.
Here's a new version. I think this is better, not as colorful but more detailed.
