The Leo Triplets, in the constellation Leo. M65 at the top, M66 below that, and
on the left is the Hamburger Galaxy, NGC 3628.
I took a lot more images of Thor's Helmet, this came out much better than my
last attempt.
My prize from last night, the Iris Nebula. I've been looking for this nebula but
have never found it before last night. Seems like it should be easy but it is
difficult to find something I can't see and is very small in a field of view of
only 2.5 degrees of sky. The Iris Nebula is in the constellation Cepheus, which
is getting quite low in the sky this time of year, so I have to deal with
shooting through more atmosphere than I like. I will probably take more images
of this nebula tonight before it drops too low.
