How many times can I do this? It appears at least once more. The Great Orion Nebula, an HDR combo to take care of the blown out core. If I had the patience, I would just spend an entire night shooting this, get all the data I need, and then never do it again. As it is, I usually shoot for less than an hour and later wish I had spent more time at it.

This is NGC 2403, a galaxy located in the constellation Camelopardalis.
It is about 8 million light years out there, 50,000 light years in diameter.

Thor's Helmet. Officially NGC 2359. It is near Sirius, but invisible to the eye even with binoculars or my 500mm lens. I will be spending more time on this nebula in the near future. It is thought to be a star in the pre-supernova stage.

M 106 and neighbors. I've tried to image this scene several times but something always went wrong.
Several other galaxies are visible, the largest (at top center) is NGC 4217. This region is located near the Big Dipper.
