Astrophotography
December 27, 2016
I took more images of the Cone Nebula region and stacked them. Adds a little
more detail.
The Wizard Nebula, near the constellation Cepheus.
I guess it is supposed to look like a wizard, but once again, I don't see it.
I have finally figured out a way to get the Trapezium area in the Orion Nebula
to show its true color, teal. Now I just need to take some longer exposures and
add them to this image. I had some from last night but there appeared to be a
stream of satellites going through and pretty much ruined them all. This image
consists of twenty 30 second exposure and fifteen 10 second exposures. I'd like
to add about 20 one-minute exposures.
