Some New Photos
March 13, 2016
A portion of the Virgo Galaxy Cluster. I'm having a lot of trouble processing
this, Deep Sky Stacker doesn't like it. In the larger, full size image, one can
pick out over 20 galaxies, some of them don't show up as well in this smaller,
resized image. 500mm, 60 second exposures, ISO 1600, 9 images stacked in
Photoshop.
The Barn Owl in the Thicket
Lots of Vermilion Flycatchers are back now. There have been a few
around all winter, but now they are everywhere.
Some interesting clouds I saw at camp a few days ago, late afternoon, just after
a cold front.
A crescent moon is visible in the upper left.
