Some photos from my camp near Ajo with the
new Astro Track
January 29, 2016
Andromeda Galaxy, nine 60 second exposures, ISO 3200, 400mm at f5.6,
stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop. M33 is the galaxy
on the lower right,
M32 is on the upper left side of the Andromeda Galaxy.
Uncropped, just resized.
I know this isn't a very good photo, but it is a photo of two distant galaxies,
Bode's Galaxy and the Cigar Galaxy.
I was happy to just find them. Very distant and dim. Located near the Big
Dipper. Also known as M81 and M82. See this
LINK for more info. Please
ignore the Hubble Space Telescope photos.
Orion Nebula and a couple of meteor trails. Uncropped at 400mm.
Orion Nebula
Triangulum Galaxy, in the Triangulum Constellation, also known as M33. M33 is
2.8 million light years
distance from Earth, only 60,000 light years diameter (compared to the Andromeda
Galaxy at 140,000 light years diameter). This is uncropped too, just resized.
Very difficult to locate in the camera lens, as it is very dim. 400mm, 60 second
exposure, f5.6, 6400 ISO.
