A Common Side-blotched Lizard, one of the few lizards I've seen this winter so
far.
It hard to see what the Roadrunners are eating, they are so fast. Finally caught
this one in action.
Comet Catalina. Last night, I got up at 2:30 AM, set up the Skytracker and
waited for the moon to set. Then I could see the Comet Catalina, near the Big
Dipper. I took a lot of photos but stacking them didn't do much good. The comet
moved enough during the time I was shooting that the stacked photos showed its
path. This one is a single image, 30 second exposure, 250 mm focal length.
Not a great photo, I've seen some much better ones. At least one of the tails is
visible. Perhaps even more interesting is that there appears to be a distant
galaxy visible in the lower left corner.
