Ajo, AZ and Alamo Canyon
January 1, 2016
Cooper's Hawk hunting by the IGA in Ajo. It was after some
House Sparrows hiding in a brush pile.
I didn't see it catch anything, but it was sure trying.
These weren't there the last time I hiked in Alamo Canyon. Black water jugs are
used by the illegals or smugglers.
I see them a lot, nothing too unusual, but the old towel was something new. They
cover their shoes with thick cloth to smooth out their footprints so the Border
Patrol can't track them as easily. That is what the old towel and string are
for.
