Sagebrush Lizards in Schenk Canyon, Black Hills National Forest

This colony of Sagebrush Lizards has been known for nearly 40 years now.
It seems to be restricted to the top a butte and on the south side only.
There are other colonies of Sagebrush Lizards in the Black Hills but this was one of the first to be reported.
This morning I visited the site and found several juveniles and one female.
