Wish I could have got a better shot of this, a male Western Tanager
feeding raspberries to a fledged Brown-headed Cowbird.
A Mellissa Blue on Eriogonum pauciflorum. I was hoping for some
new butterflies in the sagebrush country down by Edgemont but this was the best I could do.
A juvenile Greater Short-horned Lizard, Phrynosoma hernandesi.
I found this one in the sagebrush country west of Edgemont. It is only about 2 inches long.
