Some New Photos from the Black Hills
I flushed this Common Nighthawk at close range, I guess there is a nest or young
birds in the area, but I didn't see them. This female was doing distraction
displays but I could not get photos of that.
A recently fledged Western Meadowlark.
Robber Fly in the genus Diogmites.
Weidemeyer's Admiral, perfectly positioned and in fresh condition.
An unidentified hornworm caterpillar, anyone have a caterpillar ID guide?
