Some photos from the southern Black Hills
I haven't seen any Pygmy Nuthatches in the Black Hills this year until today.
A small flock was foraging in a group of pine in the meadow near my Scamp.

This is a snake I've never been able to get a good photo of, the Racer.
Usually they take off at top speed, this one just kind of coiled up for me.
